Light Room: Globe Image Editing vs. Local Image Editing Art P. SuwansangEvening Speaker Monday, October 15, 2007 6:30 p.m. Marriott Courtyard, Camarillo ![]() This workshop on Light Room will introduce photographers to the concept of global image editing vs. local image editing, digital work flow, batch processing, digital asset management, the concept of editing an event by categories, and the fundamentals of Light Room. Global image editing is the driven concept behind Light Room. In this digital age, photographers capture thousands of images per event, and in order to edit these images in a effective and timely manner, a global image editing program is necessary. The idea of digital asset management, such as key wording your images for later use, is becoming more imminent and important in this digital era. The concept of editing an event by categories is one of the many ways to streamline a more effective workflow for busy photographers. With live demonstration and introduction into the inner workings of Light Room, photographers will be able to understand the functionality of Light Room, and further establish a customized workflow that best fits their photographic style.
