CIPPA Image Competitions
Image Competitions are offered to provide competitive scoring, feedback, critique, and awards for our CIPPA members. All competitions are judged by a panel of 3 PPC or PPA-certified judges. Please select the individual competition from the available dates and pay for that event.

The competition is for individual digital images and digital albums. These entries are judged against a standard of excellence using the 12 Elements of a Merit Image as a guide. These guidelines closely follow those used by PPA (Professional Photographers of America, Inc.). There are (4) four image competitions per year: February, May, August, and November (or as adjusted by the Board of Directors). Scores from all four competitions in a year will be used to determine the Photographer of the Year for each Category and CIPPA Photographer of the Year. The awards will be presented at the January Awards Gala.
