LearnDesk - Is currently down for maintenance. I will send out a message when maintenance is complete.
Website Update - A series of minor updates have been made to the website this week.
Some Menu modifications reflecting the future content will be rolled out in the next couple of weeks. You will see some new pages marked as Under Development.
The Blog is now located in the Resources Menu
We added a monthly critique menu, where we will post galleries of merit images
This week, we have begun emailing notifications to all members about new content posted on the Blog. Some of the entry types you can expect in the blog are How-to Articles, Information about upcoming Monthly Critique Topics, Weekly Updates, Articles about upcoming events, Safari Videos, etc.
Blog Articles are categorized so you can click the menu category at the top to see that category or its articles.

June Picnic 6/20/2026 - Remember to sign up for the picnic in Camarillo
Getty Center Instructions 7/14/2026 - Members who are planning to attend the Getty Workshop can click here for the event instructions. Registration for the Getty Workshop will close on June 26th. We need to inform the Getty about the attendees.
Creative Portraits Workshop 7/23/2026 - This workshop is about bringing your own creativity to portraits through lighting, model direction, and post-production. It will be hosted in a small studio with Live models.
Ventura County Fair CCP Exhibit - We have a submission deadline of June 5th for digital submissions for review. We will review all digital submissions and select images to present at the Coastal California Photographers Exhibit at the fair. Click here to read the instructions. Once images are selected, we will send makers a notification and instructions on printing guidelines. ,
Ventura County Fair Photographic Competition - Instructions for submitting images to the fair competition will be posted shortly on the Blog. Remember, you can submit the same image for the exhibit and for the fair. Remember, you are responsible for making submissions to the fair competition in accordance with the rules set out by the Fair.
