CIPPA's Springtime Panoramas in Yosemite workshop will be held March 18th and 20th in Yosemite. Participants are planning to arrive on the 17th and departing on the 20th.
We are excited about a new format we are going to try this year. Our goal is to provide lots of hands-on experience and focused critique of the workshop results.

Gary and Mike will guide the group to different locations within Yosemite where participants can experiment with tripod and handheld techniques, shooting wide panoramas with high resolution or shooting close-ups on a feature for extreme detail. Instruction will occur before, during, and after outings.

This session will begin with a review of the different approaches and techniques you can use to build your panoramas. Participants will work with their images from Yosemite and use different techniques for assembling the scene. At the end of this session, participants will be assigned to assemble and process 1 or 2 panoramas for the concluding section of this workshop.
April 18, 2024 - Tech Talk – A Review of Painters & Photographers who captured Yosemite, and a review of 1 or 2 of your images from the workshop by Tim Meyer. Tim will present the work of a couple of early Yosemite Photographers and Artists and discuss their work. Giving everyone a deeper insight into the techniques, composition, and content of their work. Following Tim's presentation, we will conduct an Image Review where Tim will judge at least 1 image from each workshop participant.
